"Know Your Rights" Presentation Tuesday, March 21
The Latino Outreach Committee would like to invite students, their families and friends to a Know Your Rights presentation on Tuesday, March 21, in the LASA/LBJ library. The workshop will be held during LASA's lunch hour from 11:20 a.m. - 12: 10 p.m. Everyone is invited, regardless of whether or not they attend LASA. We want to make this information available to anyone who would like to be informed about their immigration rights.

The presenter will be a representative from RAICES, a non-profit organization that is part of the Texas Here to Stay Coalition. She will take questions and answers following the presentation. The presentation  will be in English and in Spanish.

We hope you can join us for this important workshop. Please feel free to forward this invitation to anyone who might want to attend. We look forward to seeing you at the workshop.

Thank you,

It's a Wrap!  Help LBJ/LASA Band!
The LBJ / LASA Band Boosters are seeking sponsorships for advertisement on the LBJ Band Trailer.  The trailer has been recently re-wrapped and looks visually stunning as it travels to numerous football games and marching competitions throughout Texas.  We are seeking support from businesses/individuals who would like to advertise on the back of the trailer.  The LBJ Band Trailer gets noticed everywhere we go, so this is an excellent advertising opportunity.  Sponsorships are $500 for at least 2 years of advertising on the trailer.

If you own your own business or if your employer is seeking an advertising opportunity, please consider supporting the LBJ Band in this special way.  Families or other individuals can show their support of the band as well.  Please contact Eric Metcalf (ericmetcalf78723@gmail.com) if you are interested or need additional information.

We only have room for 8 more advertisements on the trailer, so space will sell out quickly!  Thanks!!
